GHK-Cu Ingredient characteristics
GHK-Cu is a complex of GHK tripeptide and divalent copper ions. GHK was first isolated from human plasma in 1973 and was found to have wound repair function in 1985. Since then, scientists have also artificially synthesized copper peptide GHK-Cu using tripeptide Gly-His-Lys and copper acetate. This ingredient is highly favored in the field of skin care for its multiple functions.
Main functions of GHK-Cu
1. Tighten skin
GHK-Cu can tighten loose skin and improve skin elasticity and firmness.
2. Reduce wrinkles
By promoting the synthesis of normal collagen in the skin, GHK-Cu can effectively reduce fine lines and deep wrinkles.
3. Promote repair
As an activator of tissue remodeling, GHK-Cu can promote the degradation of a large number of collagen aggregates outside the scar, as well as the production of normal collagen, elastin, proteoglycans and glycosaminoglycans in the skin.
4. Antioxidant
Copper ions have antioxidant effects and can protect the skin from damage by free radicals.
5. Anti-inflammatory
GHK-Cu can also promote anti-inflammatory response and help relieve skin inflammation.
Application fields of GHK-Cu
GHK-Cu is widely used in repair and anti-aging cosmetics. Its unique efficacy makes products containing this ingredient highly competitive in the market.
